How do I learn to sing IN DIFFERENT STYLES?First: The student builds the voice with classical techniques, focusing on learning the mechanics of singing. The student learns how to breathe for singing, to increase vocal range, to control larynx position while singing, to protect voice from vocal problems. This is the foundation of all vocal training, no matter which style you want to sing, which allows the student to use the full potential of the voice. Second: After the student’s voice is technically prepared and flexible they are ready to be trained in specific characteristics of different styles. The student will work on individualized exercises created by Ms. Aziz for their preferred musical styles such as Classical, Musical Theatre, Flamenco, Eastern, Jazz and Pop. To achieve technical proficiency in their desired styles the student first must have a strong foundation to build on.

How to become a successful singer/artist?Most teachers would say singing success consist of 10% talent and 90% work. However, a brilliant voice and great technique are only 50% of what is necessary for success. There are some singers with average voices but very successful career. The other 50% consists of Lifestyle: thought patterns, habits and the energy they project to the world. In the lessons the student will learn what keeps them from success and how creating the right frequencies are essential. - They will learn to work on their thoughts to create a positive energy field just as Olympic athletes do. - They will learn to become more aware, more conscious of actions and habits that have negative effects such as habits of aggression, resentment, blaming others, being judgmental and much more. - They will experience how a good state of mind creates the basis for a beautiful or even average voice to shine. Putting together this whole package brings clarity; your energy vibrates so strongly it creates the right energy for your success.
